What is Time? An illusion. A creation. A non-linear design. Derrida and Agamben explore the concepts of Time, through the symbols of the Child and the Ghost. These archetypes speak to us of potentiality, spectrality, past, future and memory, pulling us – yet and paradoxically – to the present moment which is what really exists. Inspired by the legacy of both philosophers, “The Child and the Ghost” proposes, through the work and artists, a vision of time and subjectivity that is neither linear nor fixed, an interpretation of duality and the dialogue between these elements. Are we constantly crossing thresholds and borders—between language and silence, between presence and absence, between potency and act?
